It's whatever, just make it count

I didn't think I could relate to gangster rap so much. Stressing and worrying about small things can be such a trap. It can be so easy to get sucked into the day-to-day and get lost on the road to your end destination, whatever that may be. Those quick fixes when things get hard (read: tequila on a weekday) are given into so easily, rendering you fallen to bad habits that don't progress you forward. They leave you stuck; un-moving. I think its important (and I too, am scolding myself here) to give yourself daily reminders of your goals and what you want to achieve.

I've said it before, I'm not one for 'self-help' books, however I have realized that one of my 'daily reminders' are words of encouragement. Whether that is vocal; conversations with friends or written; articles by other bloggers. One particular article that has stuck with me is from The Collective Hub which details how exercising resilience allows one to better move on from life's curve balls. Emotional exhaustion derails the strength and motivation to stay on your personal road, so this one has definitely been a good read!


What are some good ideas of daily reminders? Post-its, photos, meditation? And no, your Sunday night scramble/panic does not count!
